How it works
From first enquiry to a standing order
Trade supply works best when the detail is agreed once and then simply repeated. This is how we get there.
Tell us what you need
Send us an enquiry list, or just tell us the lines and rough volumes you go through in a normal week. We would rather have a conversation about what your kitchen actually uses than quote blind against a list.
We quote against your specification
We come back with current trade prices for your lines, at your volumes, to your delivery postcode. Because meat is priced daily to market, a quote is valid for the period we state on it — we will always tell you what that period is rather than leaving you to guess.
Open the account
Complete the trade account application below. We will need your trading name and address, business type, a named contact and delivery details. Payment terms are agreed at this point — currently payment on delivery.
Agree a cutting sheet
This is the part that saves everyone time later. We write down exactly how you want each line prepared — dice size, portion weight, chop thickness, trim level, bone in or out, pack format, label detail — and that becomes the standard for your account. If it changes, tell us once.
Order and receive
Place your order by the cut-off (6pm the day before) for the next available run for your region. Product is picked from chilled storage, labelled, loaded into a refrigerated vehicle and delivered against a delivery note you can check on arrival.
Order the way that suits your kitchen
- 01 Enquiry list Build a list on this site, add your delivery postcode and required date, and send it through. It arrives with us as a formatted list of codes, quantities and notes.
- 02 Email Send your order to zubia@alhalal4u.co.uk. For established accounts a short list of codes and quantities is enough — your cutting sheet does the rest.
- 03 Phone or WhatsApp Call us on 07385 309124, or message us — Message us on WhatsApp. We read the order back to you before it goes on the run.
Our current order cut-off for the next available delivery is 6pm the day before. Orders placed after the cut-off go onto the following scheduled run for your region. Bespoke butchery, whole carcasses to a particular weight band and large event orders need more notice — talk to us as early as you can and we will tell you honestly what is achievable.

Bespoke butchery
Cut to your sheet, every time
Consistency is the whole point of a trade supplier. If your section has to adjust around what turned up that morning, something has gone wrong upstream.
We will work to any reasonable written specification and hold it as the standard for your account. Most customers find the first few weeks involve some fine-tuning — a slightly larger dice, a little more trim off — and after that it simply repeats.
- Dice and chop: curry cut, karahi cut, biryani cut, or a dice size in millimetres
- Portion control: steaks, fillets and chops cut to a target weight with a stated tolerance
- Bone: bone in, boned out, rolled and netted, chined, French trimmed
- Trim: fat cap depth and silverskin removal to your standard, with trim returned if you want it
- Prepared lines: your own kebab, burger or marinade recipe run for you
- Carcass breaking: whole and half carcasses broken to your cutting sheet at no extra charge
The schedule
Every line, code and pack size
The full working range as a specification schedule — code, pack, typical weight, how it is priced and how it is stored. Codes link to the full detail. Prices are quoted live against your volumes, which is why they are not printed here.
Anything on this schedule can be cut, portioned or packed to your own written specification. Browse the range with photographs and indicative pricing, or ask us for a line that is not listed.
Packaging & labelling
Packed for your goods-in, not ours
Packaging formats
- Vacuum packed for extended chilled life on primals and portions
- Tray packed with absorbent pads for counter-ready lines
- Bulk bagged in food-grade liners inside lidded crates or cases
- Interleaved for burgers and kebabs so they separate from frozen
- Inner bags sized so a catering case opens into usable batches
On every label
- Product description and our product code
- Your own product code, where you use one
- Net weight and pack count

- Date coding — use-by or best-before as appropriate

- Halal identification — supplier certificate copies available on request
Delivery days
When we reach you
We deliver nationwide on refrigerated vehicles, with a local service around Luton and Bedfordshire. Delivery days are set by region so that loads are built sensibly and the cold chain is not stretched across too many drops.
Tell us your delivery postcode and we will confirm which days we can reach you and what the cut-off is for each.
Terms
Invoicing & payment
Payment terms are agreed when your account is opened and may depend on order volume and trading history. Our current standard terms are payment on delivery.
- Invoices issued against the delivery note for each drop
- Priced at the rate confirmed for that order, not the website guide price
- Weight-priced lines invoiced on actual delivered weight
- Queries raised within 7 days of the invoice date
- Statements available on request
No minimum order. Any size order is welcome, delivered or collected — most accounts start small and grow once the kitchen has seen the product.
